Air conditioning leaks are a common problem in automobiles.
The cool winter air often causes issues with the fitting of the air conditioning
system.
Problem:
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve is clogged causing loss of power. If neglected a costly repair
bill is imminent.
Solution:
Remove EGR valve and attach a specialized tool at the EGR port, where a carbon-attacking chemical
eliminates carbon build-up.
We offer maintenance and repair services for your air conditioning system. If your
system has broken down, or if you simply need a recharge, we’re here to help. Our
top quality service and friendly staff will get you back on the road and enjoying the
luxury of air conditioning.
Air Conditioning System
This system shares air ducts, controls and a blower with the heater, but has its own
refrigerant system. The air conditioning system is comprised of the following
components:
-
Compressor
This is a pump that pressurizes and circulates the refrigerant through the
system..

-
Condenser
As the refrigerant flows through
the condenser, it gives off heat
and converts from gas to liquid.
-
Receiver/Dryer or Accumulator
This is where clean, dry
refrigerant is stored as it circulates through the system.
-
Orifice Tube or Expansion Valve
This is a metering device that controls the flow of refrigerant
throughout the system.
-
Evaporator Core
Refrigerant enters the evaporator core as a liquid. Heat from the air converts
the liquid refrigerant back into a gas, which cools the air before it enters your
car.
